Last weekend one of my good buddies was in town visiting for the weekend and of course we had to get out fishing. We both have a case of serious spring fever so we decided to hit up some of the SE Wisconsin tributaries for some steelhead. We fished most of the day on Saturday and a few hours Sunday morning. The fishing was not fast and furious but but we worked hard and we were able to catch some nice steelhead and a few browns from these rivers. We really had to do a lot of moving around to get our fish. We got a good work out with all the running around to different spots and rivers. All our fish came on spawn sacks and all the fish were released. We thought about keeping a fish or two but they were to pretty to keep. My new Frabill catch and release salmon/steelhead net worked like a charm. Here are some pics:
