Lake Michigan- Labor Day Shore Fishing

    Thinking about taking the Wife to Lake Michigan over Labor day. Just wondering if it would be worth bringing the rods with to do some shore fishing. Don’t have a destination set yet, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I’d bring my boat, but I blew a Cylinder a month ago and don’t have the 3K to fix it!!

    Thanks for any suggestion you might have.

    I would say bring those rods along along with some spoons. (Cleo’s, Crocodiles & such)

    Watch the winds just prior to you’re trip. If the wind blows for a few days from the west, then pier & break water fishing should be good for salmon.
