The Two Rivers Salmon Tournament is now in the history books. the fishing was scattered over the weekend as the water temps were greatly changing with the winds. 10-12 degree changes kept us on the move to find fish. On Fridays opening day our second fish of the day was a 9 1/4 lb coho that would have held up to take first place in the coho division, but the charter did not have derby tickets. Sam didn’t seem to care as that was the largest fish he had ever caught and he was happy to be out fishing. The Willie Bee had a 8th place finish the next day in the Super Derby. With the changing water we were on plan C before we started to catch fish but not enough time to move up. By Monday our mixed up water brought in a jack attack and we had 5 small fish for every big fish. J-plugs and Easter Egg spoons fished in 15-30 feet of water is producing most of the action right now.
