My Dad and I fished it the first week of June and did pretty well. University bay held alot bigger fish up to 27″ than typical for this time of the year which was surprising. As usual we went further north to Suamico and Bayshore area’s and found bigger fish but less of them (5-20 per day). The last couple days the wind blew from the north pushing cooler water to the lower bay and really brought the alewives in thick which made the bite tougher but still could pull double digits. Crawler harnesses and cranks both produced fish. Reports lately seem to be that the bite is tougher.
