Report 12/23/09

    I had the day off yesterday and finally was able to hit the ice. I fished the harbor which only had a few inches of ice so I just drilled my holes next to the docks and sat on the dock. Fished for about 4 hours and caught 6 steelhead and one brown. Nothing huge but nice fish in the 6-8 lb. range. The steelhead once again are super fun on the ice rods and they were pretty looking fish. All fish came on spawn sacs. Nice to get out before the nasty weather!

    Great to hear reports about lake michigan. Keep em coming, i would like ice fish up near green bay this winter, have you fished up in that area?
