The Willie Bee has been tucked away for the winter, the last trips kept us hopefull for a salmon run out on the lake but that never happened. The winds got strong and the waves got high,so that ends our season for this year. Mid June and July were the best fishing action time this year, and our first place lake trout in the TR Derby along with a 24lb brown were the highlights of the season. The river fishing is going strong right now, the popular spots are crowded but producing fish. Have a good winter and we’ll see you back on the water next year.

Keith: Is that the dam at Shoto??

Thanks for all the reports and pics this year. Always good to hear about the old home grounds.

Yes, that is a picture of the Shoto Dam, very crowded this year. Mishicot dam is just as crowded.

Bummer I missed it this year. Knowing what can happen to the run I better take a charter next summer to get my yearly salmon filets.
