Green Bay area shore and small boat fishing

My daughter recently moved to Green Bay and I’m hoping to use this as a regular excuse to go fishing up there
After all…How can the FW disagree when she gets to spend the weekend with her child

Back in the mid-80’s and early 90’s me and my bud would fish over there on a regular basis on shore-smelt & trout in the spring-perch in the summer & winter-salmon & trout in the fall-even took our river boat a few times-in protected area’s of course… but it’s been years since I’ve been even over there…
Can anyone give me some spots where I could try it off shore?
In fact I might be visiting them fairly soon and just need some general ideas of where to start….I have bunches of time

The area on the Fox River from the dam down to the big launch has some shore spots. Follow HWY 57 all along that way and you’ll see what I mean. There are some small launches along the way that will offer you some shore fishing. I have some other spots to share but I need to go find my maps.
