After a week of very good action out past 300 feet for rainbows and some good action in 65-120 feet on the days when the road was to lumpy to get deep, the mix of fish were in close which brought us a grand slam day. The tournament went well for us, but the one that got away could have moved up our 4th place finish. We focused on getting our tournament limit with rainbows which made for a close fishing on day two. We had the best catch for day 2 but with a close finish had us behind by 6 points. spoons on the surface worked best in orange colors and a few flasher flies down deep netted us some kings. The water is setteling in and the kings are moving in so look for so more exciting action this week. Check for all the details of the tournament in the next couple of days to be posted on the NEWGLSF.org website.
