I knew I was going to have a busy few weeks coming up so I decided to hit the harbor for about 3 1/2 hours this morning before work. I spent the whole time trolling and ended up with a productive morning going 6-7 with half coming on boards and half on dypsy’s with spoons. All were browns except for one rainbow. I released everything but the rainbow. The first fish of the day came on my first trolling pass and it was the biggest of the day, a big female brown. Good way to start the morning. Water temps were 47 degrees and the water for the most part was pretty clear. Here is the pic of the big female.

Nice fish, Andy. Looked a bit choppy in the harbor. I’m always torn this time of year, whether to hit the harbor for the bigguns, or chase marbleyes on the Rock. Tough to beat the big-fish fight you come to know and like on Lake MI.
