Capt. Keith http://www.walleyeschoice.com send the following report:
Keith spent several hours out on the water out of the Gladstone Boat Launch. He was saying that most of the ice in the harbor was broken up and pretty much gone and once getting out the lower bay is wide open. The northern winds were blowing today pushing some ice from the northern end of the bay but Keith says its looking like most of the upper bay is definitely iced over. In his 3 hours of fishing he didn’t catch any fish and shared the water with several other boats today and fishing is very slow.
Predicted snowfalls are to vary and expected amounts could range from a couple of inches to some larger volume, we seem to be in the soft to hard water transition period right now.
