I’m still a couple of weeks away before the Willie Bee will hit the water for the season, but I did make the rounds and check out the action so far. Both Manitowoc Marina and Seagull Marina in Two Rivers have the launches open. The brown trout are biting at the pier heads in Two Rivers and south of Manitowoc off the dome house. No major coolers full yet with the water being so cold the fish are still scattered and up the rivers. The stickbaits and orange spoons run in 8-15 feet of water on boards are doing the best. The river action is still spotty in Shoto and the Manitowoc river, the water is up so the fish have a little more room to roam this year. When winter finally decides to end for this year, we should see more consistant action.
