“Algoma 5/23-5/25”
Fished mainly East and South of town, fished from 20-160 feet. Trolled N to S, S to N, E to W, and W to E, all with the same results, very slow. Marked most fish in the 100-140 foot range, all hits came from 60-80 feet down, usually around the 70′ mark. Green/Black ladderback, and blue flasher/fly combo, were the two best, with Dipsys being the best producer. Winds were out of the NE, until Sunday, with water temps at 43.1, then they switched out of the South. In shallow there is a strong temperature break 14′ down, from 43 to 52 degrees. Here is a pic of one boated right at sunset.
