It has been alot of fishing for us lately, it has been a great time to be out on the water. The fishing right now is a little unconsistant with the past weeks catches being limit catches to trips with 7 fish. Fighting the big fish for long periods of time keeps the fish count down and if there are a few misses the cooler doesn’t get full, but there is the famouse fish that got away story that can be passed on down to the next generations. The flasher flies have been producing the most action in the green flasher with a crinkle green Jimmy fly and the white flasher with the boy blue Loner fly producing the best for us. Right now the early bite is starting up and then the slow late mornings, we also are throwing the tackle box at them with spoons in the early morning, then flasher fly, and then a few J-plug hit the water. No pattern just keep moving and changing. The water is warming up so the fish are not as predictable, you can find them stacked up, but they don’t always decide to bite.
