Fished out of Racine on thursday from 3pm till 9. Started a little ticked, as my 4th Lowrance 334C decided not to let me out of map page, and into sonar or main menu. So ran east in the blind, and set up to troll eastward. After about 2 hours of nothing, and playing with the 334C to try to get a depth reading, stumbled on a way to set a depth in the MOB feature….we were in 70 fow, but wanted 90. So out we went, and it wasn’t long till we had the first of 4 hits in an hour, a nice 10.5 bow hit a spoon on 3 color lead. Next fish came a few minutes later, but unhooked after 2 minute battle….never saw it. Third was a 16 lb. chin that hit a dipsey/spoon, and 4th a nice 3 lb. eater coho that came on a rigger, 40 ft. down. All came between 100 and 115 fow. Quiet after that till I was ready to pull last rod at 9 pm, and slam!….dipsey/spoon took a nice 13 lb. chin to finish off the day. Will post pics later on. but emailing Lowrance next, and requesting new model, or money back….no 334Cs for me.

    Yikes Ed,

Sounds like you were able to salvage the trip but after 4 depthfinders I would be POed as well. Hang in there bud and get the smoker ready

Just catching up on posting some photos. Also, got the 334C problem resolved with a “soft reset”, with help of Lowrance.
