We couldn’t keep the poles in the water today, we needed some bubble gum on the hooks after going 2 for 7 on the first pass, but after the second time around we filled our charter limit very early and headed in before the winds picked up. All we had time to get in the water today were some orange spoons on the surface and then we were finished. We only had to get to 40-50 feet of water and the action was steady. We had a nice 17 lb king in the mix today, that’s looking good size wise for this time of year already. Don’t miss the Manitowoc Salmon Derby coming up on July 6,7,8 and keep up on all our pictures and reports at http://www.williebeecharters.com See You Out on the Water.
