It’s getting to be very fun fishing out there right now, we filled the charter limit of 20 plus 2 reeling in the lines by 8:30 a.m. A mix of everything but a brown fit in the box today. The orange spoons on the surface lines and diseys and the white flashers with boy blue Jimmy Flies are working the best on pumphandles 14 and 16 passes back in 80-120 feet of water. The temperature breaks and scum lines are setting up perfectly so there should be some excellent action to come. Our 3 hour afternoon trip boated a quick 9 before having to get back in. Looks like that was a lot of fun. Would someone tell me what a pump handle is?

A pumphandle or #ball rig or thumper pole is a rod set up with a 6 to 16 oz weight attached and then a flasher fly attached to the back. We call them pumphandles because you have to pump the pole to reel the fish in.
