We snuck out after the rain, and got treated to a perfect evening the lake, flat calm seas, sunshine and even a couple of fish in the box. We ended the short trip with 3 rainbows and a king and missed 4 other fish on. The rainbows all came off the surface with a bumble bee spoon and the king came down on the bottom on a green flasher and green fly on the pump handle rod. We fished the 60 – 200 foot depth north of the fish nets. If your venturing out of Two Rivers, there are maps available at Seagull Marina with the locations of all the fish nets. The fog rolled in thick on us and the seagulls lit up the radar screen like a game of asteroids. Water temps are perfect from the pier heads on out, keeping the fish scattered for know.
