Tonight I had a trip with a couple local veterans out on the bay near Gladstone. The bite is still mainly males, drifting deep water breaks with jigs/live bait. We are marking several fish in about 36 fow when I say…”why not?” and tie on a 3/8 H20 jig and Firecracker ringie. I lower it to the bottom… pump it a couple quick snaps and WHAM! walleye on!!
The two gents are really in awe? Guess what? I did that for three in a row! The Ringworm is an amazing thing!
We had a good flurry until the wind died…13 in two hours…only two legals. The mayflies are starting…
