does anyone know of any productive shore fishing spots around escanaba and gladstone, I am in the area some and it is too far for me to pull the old boat, i’m game for anything, walleyes, bass, pans, trout and salmaon, any help would be appreciated 
There are several good places bigdog. The Escanaba River down stream from the Mead boat landing in Wells is a good place to cast for evening walleye or smallmouth. The mouth of the Whitefish river acessible from the Rapid River boat launch is great evening wading for walleye. You can wade out a long way and only need a rod and a couple floating Rapalas. The Ludington Bait shop in downtown Esky would be very helpful. Ask for Chris Wahl.
