A Week of Wind and Waves

The number of fish hitting the boat this week dropped with the fishing conditions. Steady winds kept the 3-7 foot waves flowing our way. We cancelled a couple of trips when the waves got to high. Fishing had steady action, but getting the fish in the boat was about a 1 out of 3 making it, fighting them in the rolling seas. All flasher fly action in 100-120 feet of water, the big 4 year olds are staging up on the bottom there and we did pull a 28lb and a number of 22-24lb fish this week. Keep a eye on the weather the first west wind or heavy rain will drive a heavy spawning run.
