I was up there this last weekend prefishing for the upcoming Wisconsin State Bass Federation State Tournament and could not believe my eyes while scoping out some of the reefs with the aquaview. WALLEYES EVERYWHERE. I found them on 1 particular hump on Larson’s Reef by the 100s. It was unbelievable. Every other spot I checked out was absolutely loaded with them. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the giant sumo smallies I was seeking but wow, what a walleye factory. Key depths seemed to be 10-14 FOW. What amazed me was that there was nobody out there fishing for them. I was 1 of 3 boats on the reef, 1 of which was also prefishing for the same tournament.
