After the rain storm the river current going out into the lake has drawn all the fish in close. We picked up a early 2 man limit this morning and had the road crew out for 14 kings the night before on a short evening trip. 12-18 feet of water right out front of the piers is full of bait fish and salmon. Downriggers and dipseys with any color spoon was working. It was hard to keep a couple of lines in the water. Lower 50 degree water temps are holding the fish in close. Alot of larger salmon already are moving in.

Nice batch of fish. Are they doing good at Algoma also? I go back over there a week from Friday. Going to help celebrate Shanty Days and then fish untill the the 18th.

I am not getting any hot reports from Algoma, last I heard action there was really slow. We had the perfect current to drive the fish in close by us. I would think things would pick up north of us soon.
