We had a excellent week of fishing, with our Wed. afternoon trip bringing in 21 fish. A mix of 18 nice rainbows and 3 nice salmon kept us busy for a couple of hours out on the lake. The planer boards were flying everywhere with any kind of orange spoon on the surface and the green alewife Raider spoons down 55 feet out in 200 feet of water. With alot of the boats out of the water already, only a couple of boats are getting out on the lake and the action out in deeper water for the 2 and 3 year old salmon and the rainbows in a number of strains has been excellent the past week. The salmon run up the rivers has slowed down now and most of that action is farther up river now. The brown trout have not moved in yet, but give them a couple of weeks yet and the rivers will fill up with trout.
Rainbows are Biting Deep!
