The weekend turned out to be perfect for fishing on Lake Michigan. Calm seas and fish biting on just about everything. The 140-200 foot mark was producing heavly this weekend just south of Two Rivers. Every boat coming in was doing well with no pattern to bait type. We did a quick shake down run on the Pauly Girl and picked up 3 kings and returned early for breakfast and to get the grill out. A number of boats putting in a morning of fishing came in with catches of 10-30 fish. All species were being caught with the kings and rainbows filling up most of the cooler space. Water temps on the surface was 52 degrees. The fishing keeps getting better from here on, this is a great way to start up the season.
Great Weekend in Two Rivers
