I read that the other day. Definitely good news. What does concern me a bit is the reduction in size of older fish and the wondering if a 7 year old whitefish would be as contaminated with heavy metals as say a 7 year old lake trout. That being said, I certainly look forward to one day making it north and catching some through the ice. The whitefish I’ve eaten in restaurants is very good and I can only imagine that freshly caught would be even better.
