The salmon run is on and our evening trip caught 5 and missed or tore off 3 more. A lot of line screaming action when these big kings hit and make a few runs. The J-plugs are on and 8-25 feet of water is stacked up with fish.

White or silver plugs with rattles. Boards worked better once the boat traffic picked up. 27 boats in the gap last night, going to be combat fishing this weekend. Dipseys out 10 feet when the traffic is less. Big fish this year, heard there was a 36lber caught off Manty.
It kills me after fishing there two years in a row I haven’t been back in three. Its such a long ways to go for maybe fishing.
