Fishing action is great right now, caught a limit in the morning and had a evening trip that brought in 10. All spoons in the top 50 feet of water out in 130-220 feet of water. The kings are in at the piers and some 30+ lbers have already been caught.
Pier fishing has been up and down. The wind kept the river water from pushing out and a bunch of sheepheed moved in. The fish are in there thick, there is a short sunrise bite and then hit and miss. There is a second wave of kings staging in 30 feet of water, a little rain would really get them going. I was 4 for 9, with all fish over 22lbs on the last trip.
