It should be interesting to see how big some of these fish get in another 3 or 4 weeks prior to going inland and dying. I am told there is a ton of large Alewife for them to feed on this year. I bet a few 40+ Lb. fish show up in another few weeks.

I bet the state Chinook record (44lbs 15 oz.) could be in jeopardy of changing this fall yet or next year.

I know the fishing seems to be slow, although some of the charters down south of Milwauke and Farther south seem to be having a better go of it. Doesnt take that many fish to have good morning when a few of them push that 20lb mark. Nothing fights like a big king. – QB
