James and myself spent Monday and Tuesday fishing Little Bay De Noc together. while the Bay offers fantastic trophy opportunities this time of year particularly night fishing trolling crankbaits for the fish our mission was to fish during the day casting and jigging blade baits for these fish. I had been fishing the bay the two weeks prior mostly fishing at night and catching nice fish I also took some time to try to pattern these fish during day light hours and was pretty successful catching 15 to 20 fish a day many of them being in the range from 18 to 22 inches along with two or three fish in that 27 inch range. Over the course of the two days that we fished we caught nice walleyes we were just not fortunate to land any of those bigger fish. While the Bay offers fantastic night fishing opportunities dont be afraid to give the day time fishing a try. I had a great time fishing with James this week and look forward to our next adventure.
