We made it out again yesterday to do some jigging for Walleyes.After spending quite some time having to break through an inch of hard ice to get out of the marina we finally made it to open water. The fishing was a little slow at first with a fish here and a fish there but as the afternoon went on the fishing picked up. I have been targeting a flat area that consists of mud with some scattered weeds in the area this area has been holding fish for us for the past several days. Most of the fish we have been catching have been 19 to 23 inches but we get a few nicer fish every day around 27 inches.
