Now that deer season is slowing down I’m thinking about Milwaukee Browns. Has anybody heard if they’re going yet? I live a few hours away so I definitely don’t have a pulse on the bite there. Hoping to land my first Brown this winter. Thanks

    Randy-

Is this the time of the year when the jigging bite can start up in the harbors again? We’ve talked before on the early spring season, and I still have to get out and try it. Living 15 minutes away, sure seems like a shame to have never done it.

live bait tactics have been doing well. (spawn & shiners)
Jigging has been a bit more hit/miss on otheir preference. One day has been hot on blades, then tinsel jigs the next. Haven’t had a solid plastics day…though I did burn through a bag of flukes in about an hour…and they shut off.
Before Sandy blew Escanaba down to Chicago, the Power Plant was giving me a great crankbait bite. Been working on dry land for the last week and haven’t put anymore effort into the lake.

There is a few steelhead in the rivers, but the super low water has made that a lame bite with 50,000 guys tromping the holes
