Door County Walleye fishing

With the lack of any wind on the water last night fish can become a little spooky. We fished water depths from 8 to 12 FOW finding our best success on Rapala Husky Jerks size # 12. We caught 10 fish finding our best fishing earlier than later. We found fish both prespawn and post spawn with a bonus 31 inch 12 lb fish that was prespawn. There is still plenty of time to enjoy fishing for walleye after dark and during the day here in Door County. Good luck and as always be safe.

Great fish! I’m headed to Green Bay Thursday night to fish till Sunday afternoon. Were you fishing that side or the lake side? How deep of water during the day?

    Thanks,
