I just got back to town after finishing up the snow goose hunting season and had the chance to check out the local fishing action. The launches at Two Rivers, Seagull Marina, and Manitowoc marina are both open and being used. The warm weather brought out alot of small boat running the shore line for brown trout and the action was very good. For the couple of guys I meet at the dock, stick baits were working best and most of the action was south of Manitowoc off the Dome. The rainbows were still being caught up river, but that is coming to a end. I’m hoping to get a early start to the 2012 fishing season, but we’ll have to see if the marina will open early this year and when the boat can get tranported back to its home in the water.
