The last month or so has been a great good month for steelhead and browns on the tributaries of Lake Michigan in SE Wisconsin. We for the most part had good flows with good water clarity with some nice fish caught and released in a few outings. I sure love ice fishing but I will take these good open water fishing opportunities with the warmer winter we have been having. I am hoping it will be a good spring coming up also. Here are some pics from the last month or so.

Nice job Andy! Its been tough looking at my flyrod collecting dust while I’ve been on the lake with the spinning gear. Pretty much all the harbors from Kenosha to Manitowoc and the power plants have been producing very well this year. Some better than others, but still a heck of a lot of fun! I’ll see ya March 17/18th at the store.
