While most of the fishing is being done up the rivers right now for rainbows and browns, both the Seagull Marina and Manitowoc Marina have the lauches open as of today. Some small boats that were launching off the beach were catching browns off the warm waters by the power company. Trolling rapalas in 5-10 feet of water has been good. With the Manitowoc launch opening there will be more boats that can access the power company. There have been some nice catches of rainbows up the rivers drifting spawn sacs, looks like the start of a good season.
