It’s that time of year again, wind and wave hights kept us in close searching for the big kings. The 15 degree rise in water tempurates put a dampner on the fish hitting around the piers but we did put a big one in the boat. A glow spoon on the rigger was our only hit for the day. Looks like it will be the luck of the day from here on out. With weather, wind direction, water temps, and the jury still out if there will be a big salmon run this year. Anticipation of some large fish coming in this year is looking good as a 27 lb brown trout and 34 lb king salmon were caught in Two Rivers this week, but the fish numbers are low.
