Still a slow week. The massive alewife die off and huge schools of bait up and down the coast of WI make it hard to make a fish bite a lure when the live bait will swim into there mouths. We found some action out in the 300 foot depths fishing the surface for rainbows. Black and gold, white, and acid color spoons on the surface. The water temps in the low 50’s near shore would seem ideal but the fish must have other ideas.
