Did the year’s maiden voyage on the Big Pond last night with my daughter and her friend. Launched at Mckinley and on the basis of fresh info, ran out to 220 fow to join a few boats. Fished from 5 till 8 or so, and boated 1 bo, 1 coho, and had 5 come unbuttoned. Boards with 2 and 3 color lead got most of the fish/hits, although had a drive-by on a 5-color. Seas started out with 2 to 3 foot rollers and layed down nicely into the evening. Lots of reports of 2 and 3 man limits yesterday, and some from boats staying in shallower.
