Had a great start on opening weekend. On our trip Friday night we pulled crank baits in eight to ten feet of water and did very well on walleyes. Came of the water at 3:00 AM. Short nap back on Saturday to try our luck on the day bites. it started slow and took me a pass or two to find them. Then it was game on, we had a great trip most walleyes were ranging from eighteen to twenty-four inches. One trophy that weighed in at ten pounds six ounces 32 inches, we also caught a nice brown trout and a pike. Now it’s time to change over to small mouth for the week. Big tournament coming up hoping to do well.

Great looking fish! Were you up by the tip of Door County? Looking forward to our trip to the bay next week. Usually put in at County Park. Anything on crawler harnesses?
