Anyone know of some lakes around the metro where a guy can catch some decent 6-8″ bullhead?

I’m assuming to use as bait, finding non-infested waters is going to be the problem.

You can catch them and use them for bait on the same water you are fishing FYI.

Yeah for some flatheads. That infested water thing is a drag. I fish the Mississippi but don’t really know where to head for bullheads.

    Lake Hiawatha

I think that is infested, but that was one of my first thoughts.

Yes it is infested and it didn’t stop me….the FWC does not have an extradition agreement with the DNR )

So let me get this straight….a Bullhead can carry invasives so you can’t move it, but they still insist that ducks and geese don’t?

    My brain hurts.
