Metal detector for bird cleaning

Anyone have a small hand held metal detector they recommend for bird/duck cleaning? I’m usually pretty good at getting BBs out of my birds but would like to get a small hand held metal detector to be 100% sure no one will bite into a BB when they’re eating birds I cooked.

I searched Amazon and a few come up but I read the reviews and read some that said the detector won’t pick up small (7.5 shot) BBs

I got the garret pin pointer after watching this video. A costly dental bill and having small children made it a no brainer. Haven’t bit into a pellet since I started using it. I’m using it to find steel so I’m not sure how well it works on other types of shot.

Thanks popcorn. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m imagine if it can find steel, lead won’t be a problem.

How small of BBs are you able to find? Or what’s the smallest you’ve used/found?

    Glad I could help.

I’m typically shooting 2, 3, and 4 shot for ducks so that’s what I’m finding. I want to say that I’ve found 7 shot but it’s not the norm.
