December 24, 2019 at 7:59 pm #1900499Before I go on about me,I wish for everyone to remember those that we knew who have preceded us into the next life,death is not the end but the beginning of it,they are now our guardian angels and soon,we will be for someone we loved who remains after us.
as we sit at the table tomorrow,give thanks for the privilege to have known them in person,or considered them a fellow sportsman/friend here.This year has been an awakening for me in many ways,a spirit I have not known in a long time has returned to me.
thanks to a chemical injury that destroyed the part of my brain that makes endorphins,I have not known joy and happiness in its true sense in many years.
whether that part is/has been healed or my brain has been rebooted and found another way,its slowly coming back to me,and I have missed it so !!I would rather bet that a way was found because so many of you have prayed/cheered me on in many ways with your kind words when I had to put Gracie down nearly a year ago,,,or when you supported us with your prayers when Mrs. Iowaboy1 needed them to get through the rough times in her life,or most recently,,when I announced that I was going out on my own and opening a new business three weeks ago now.
Whatever it was and however it returned,I am grateful to all of you and I wish each and everyone of you a most Merry Christmas !!!
there is one here who especially prodded me on daily,kicking my butt when I was down and doubting myself,lifting me up and telling me constantly to stand on the gas and not look back,to you sir,thank you,I had to back off a bit on standing on the gas as I wrecked the fan blade with my toenails lol.this year,,,Christmas in many ways has many meanings and thanks to all of you out there in IDO land,it will be in my mind and in my heart daily.
lastly,I want to thank my Heavenly Father for seeing me through so much,for thinking enough of me to create me,giving me the folks I had,never leaving me or forsaking me,and for being born in the greatest country on earth !!!MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!!!!!!
