Mercury 60hp command thrust prop

I should not have listened to the dealer as they put on a Black Max (14 x 10″) MERCURY RH Propeller, 48-854342A45. From reading other posts and referencing Mercury prop selector, I was leaning to Spitfire 13.4×15 or 13×17. During break in yesterday was hitting rev limiter max speed 22.5 at a little better than 3/4 throttle trimmed almost all the way down and jack lowered. Goal is for shallow operation on jack plate. Motor is mounted one hole up on jack plate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i know they are a bit pricey but i have found the trophys to push them flats very well.. my dad has an 18 foot xpress with a 60 tiller and a trophy 4 blade ss prop and it moves that boat like a raped ape! it is a mod v tho fowlers i think are all flat but im not sure with one that old! id speculate you would do well with a 15 maybe a 16 pitch prop.. the four blades will give you extra lift for hauling, also remember your rpms will drastically change with a full load of decoys and a couple guys
