The bay is iced over

I would expect to see some guys out very soon on the bay. I just drove down to check things out and the bay is iced over. The main lake is wide open with ice forming on the shore lines. Look like I have to chase the eyes for a few more weeks. Where is the guy in his flat bottom? He should be ice fishing already. Is that ice fishing when you are sitting in a boat? Hmmmmm that is a philosophical question.

I helped a guy load up his flat bottom or canoe last year… I’m assuming its a normal yearly occurrence? If he has to drill a hole, I would say its ice fishing. I was hoping to get out in the next couple days, wonder what it looks like after our “wintery mix” we had today.
