Got out with Chad on Lake Menomin today from about 4:30-7:30pm. The crappie bite is still in full swing with some walleyes making it to the boat as well. Water temp was right around 62-64 depending on what part of the lake. We targeted crappies in 7-10fow dragging 1/16oz Flu Flu jig’s tipped w/ a crappie minnow. Most fish were pretty light-lipped but we managed a 2 man limit and 5 stripers. Smallest crappie kept was 9”, Largest went 11.5”. Soon these crappies will go on the back burner and I will concentrate more effort on those eye’s!
