Got out again this morning for a few hours. Running cranks produced a northern but the trolling bite has seemed to slow. Dragging jig’s produced more fish yielding several 9-11″ crappies, several large mouth, and a 9″ perch. All fish we caught in 9-10fow.

How is everyone else doing? Seems as the water get’s colder the fish are getting bigger. I might try it again this afternoon assuming weather permitting.

Just got in from going out again today. Just dragging jigs in 10-11fow brought in 5 nice crappies (2 being just over 1lb), 5 eye’s (largest being 17″, smallest 14″), couple northerns, and a 17″ smallie. Tried trolling again but only picked up a smaller sized bass.

54 degree’s, I think I’m going to try and get out again this afternoon. This time I will bring a camera that works

Do me a favor, pitch a char. pepper ringie on a 1/8 oz head on 8 lb test line below the 94 bridge rip rap tight and let me know how you do—since I am stuck at work and can not fish . The temp. is going in the right direction.

Alrighty Doc, I will have to give that a shot! Got on the water last night and today for a few hours. With this wind I had more trouble finding fish however still didn’t come up dry. Today I fished the bay behind cemetery island trying to stay out of the wind. 1/8oz Pink/White jig tipped w/ a minnow in about 8-9fow produced 5, 9-12″ nice crappies and several medium sized sunfish. Was forced off the water when the wind in the bay got too strong.

Got out yesterday afternoon, Water temps are definitely dropping. On the main part of the lake I was reading 50-51 degreeā€™s, and over by the dam somewhat out of the sun I was reading from 47-50. Still just dragging jigs as it has been by far the most productive for me. Crappie bite is still very strong and the walleyes seem to be headed that way. Quick pic from yesterday, 17″ Walleye

Nice eater and it sounds like you got the crappies dialed in. Maybe see you out there this weekend.
