I am going to try and get out early Sat. morning. Had a change in the dog training so I should be freed up for a few hours. Hopefully one of you guys will be out there so I can tailpipe you .

I went out sat morning after it quit raining. Needless to say, the fishing was less than ideal and the wind made boat control a little tricky too. Anyone else get out?

Got out for 3 hours Sunday afternoon. For me the bite was off with only one pike to show for the effort. I let my 4 year old daughter pick out the crankbait colors, so we were pretty much stuck on the color blue. I did mark a ton of fish, but no takers. She was in charge of running the GPS, so now I have about 30 more waypoints.
Any reports of guys working livebait?

I hit the lake this morning in the mist using spinning rigs tipped with a crawler and used a 3/8 oz egg on 20 inches of line below the 3 way. Caught 3 eyes under 15″, was pretty slow and miserable weather. Trolling to and from the boat landing produced nothing.

I seen your name in the MWT results. Did you fish all the events?

Anybody got a water temp? If things keep cooling down, I will be hitting the gills hard. Heard the MWT was feast or famine on pool 4. I prefished with two buddies and both days(upper and lower pool) were extremely tough.

Same thing on Wissota. Not even 71 in the river above the lake. It’ll bounce back….
