Menomin Update

I had the oportunity to get out and do a little fishing with Pro Staffer Don Hanson on Friday evening during a break in the rain. We made it out about 6:30 and fished untill about 9:00. The bite was a bit slow and the walleye’s seemed to like Dons presentation better than mine. Hmmm go figure. I did manage to put my bait in from of a toothy critter which instantly bit off my line. I also caught a short very dark walleye. Here’s a photo of Don and one of the eye’s taken that evening. We still could use a couple of more boaters for the Menomin Lakes Big Brothers/ Big Sisters event on June the 5th.. If you would like to join us just reply here or send Don a PM.

Just a quick update-trolling the main lake is putting some pike in the boat. Floating Raps pulled on 3ways, dark colors were working the best.
