Ice is Gone!!!

    Hey guys:

    I flew over Menomin on Tuesday night on my way back from Florida. It would seem that fishing by boat is available on most portions of the lake. As I flew over the last portions of ice were on the south of the lake by town, in Cemetary Bay and from a point on the north side of Cemetary Island to the river mouth. All other water was open!!! I will be down to turkey hunt zone 6 and fish the river and might just have to put my boat on Tainter for old times sake.

    Thanks for the update Mark!!! Although I won’t be able to bass fish there until the opener, it will be great to learn the water, as I have a tournament there on the 8th of May.

    hah mark….ill be up there for the second to last turkey season and am also going to put the boat in on tainter…that’s if the boards are up. the last couple years they have been having trouble keeping em up. keep your fingers crossed!

    Coot, I know you have an upcoming tourny but are you going to persue some early crappie action?
