Looking into purchasing new graphs. Not partial to really one or the other. Is the imaging comparable between the two? Currently have first gen SI birds. Know this is the old Chevy vs Ford debate but wanting input from people who have either.

roll Not looking to debate here. Humminbird (Helix g3, Solix g2) has the edge on SI and maybe Di. 360 mega is ready to be sold to the masses. Garman is leading in the live scope side, I think that Lowrance is losing in the mapping departement but is making a nice push in their changeable ducer heads of their new trolling motors.

I don’t use the recordable mapping software as of yet,,,, (it’s going to happen this year) I know only about what my friends have and what I read about.

    That said,
Scanning your own mapping, Low seems easy to use and you can either share or keep to yourself. Last I knew it wouldn’t map live as you move. You had to get back to the desktop computer to download it then re up load to your head unit. Why? HB went simultaneously, use the mapping as you motor along. I don’t know if you are able to follow a contour while you are mapping in real time. Seems I’ve never seen the question asked nor talked about. That brought up another thought,

    Link Software
HB. I’m unaware of anyone having anything that can do this. At least now.

Chevy, Dodge and Ford, (not in rank just alphabetical order coffee ) are switching leads all the time just depends on what you want @ the time you are pulling the chain (attached the the money drain plug bawling of course).

The $ for a boat does not = BOAT any more.
Do you know the “Grand$” candy bar? The decimal point is getting a lot closer to that now!! shock and it’s not jester anymore!
